Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Peggy!
Ho! Ho! Ho! What a great gift to find under the tree this year! A
Very Merrytime cruise with Captain Mickey is sure to be on many wish lists. I am so very excited for you to experience the holidays onboard Disney Cruise Line!
Be sure to leave some room in your luggage along with your stockings and add your pirate garb to your
packing lists. Most Very Merrytime sailings also include the famous
Pirate Night! For many sailings, as you get closer to your cruise, you can view "My Plans" under "My Reservations" on the Disney Cruise Line website and see your full itinerary by day, which will include deck parties and Pirate Night. Schedules are subject to change, but this will give you an idea of when these events will take place during your cruise.
Pirate Night really is one of my favorite events onboard. I highly recommend dressing up to party like a pirate! If you have little ones, the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique turns into the Pirates League on this night for your pirates-in-training to be transformed into their swashbuckling alter egos. This transformation is available for an additional fee and reservations are required, so book early!
You can also pick up some eyepatches, plastic toy hooks and swords at the local discount store and bring them along with you onboard. You will also find a special surprise in your stateroom to help bring out your inner pirate!
Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions about your high seas adventure.
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
