For the pirate night will the cruise ship provide costumes or do we need to bring costumes?

Welcome aboard, Michael!  Thank you for bringing us your question about your upcoming cruise adventure with the Disney Cruise Line

Pirate Night is one the most popular nights onboard! It's wonderful to see guests dressed up in pirate costumes and accessories. Costumes are not provided; however, guests usually receive a bandana in their stateroom prior to the event (the night before, most likely). There are costumes available for purchase at the gift shop if you decide not to bring one from home. Most people participate in pirate-themed activities and games during the entire day. There's a pirate-themed dinner that you will not want to miss as you'll be immersed in a very pirate-y atmosphere from the moment you walk in!

Do not forget that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers pirate transformations for guests three and older (Pirates League packages are available on Pirate Party Nights only) who want to look extra scarier and cynical that night.

Be sure to attend the “Pirates in the Caribbean” Deck Party featuring your favorite Disney Characters, a pirate show, as well as interactive games. During the show you'll see a breathtaking fireworks display that only Disney can pull off! But wait, that's not all. After all of this, there's a monumental late night pirate buffet after the fireworks for those hungry pirate stomachs that might still be hungry. Do not forget to check your Personal Navigator each day, or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the schedule of activities and events on your ship!

Enjoy your adventure on your ship, Michael, and visit us again with ANY other questions before you set sail. We love Disney and love to help!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
