? about pin trading-are there lots of cm's to trade with? Thinking this might be something my DD11 would enjoy. Should I get pins to start her off with that she doesn't care for so she'll want to trade? Don't know anything about this but want to learn!

Hey Amanda! Oh my girls love pin trading and especially the 12 year old, so I think your 11 year old might really enjoy this.
First of all, I highly recommend one of the starter pin trading kits that can be purchased at almost every gift store in each theme park.  Funny you mentioned getting her ones she does not care about as my girls are terrible about wanting to keep them all.  However, when they get into the trades with the CM's, they soon forget that loyalty.
And yes every CM she will meet will have a pin to trade.  They all wear lanyards and she can simply walk up to a CM and ask them if they would be interested in trading pins.  If the CM does not have one she is interested she can move on to the next one.  It really is a lot of fun!
Best of luck on some great pin swapping, and if you have any more questions, please come visit us at the Mom's Panel.
