How does the pin trading system work at WDW?

    Hi Selena,

Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney Pin Trading is a popular activity for many Guests at Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Theme Parks Merchandise Blog has a great post with Guidelines For Guests that I like to direct Guests to who are interested in learning how Disney Pin Trading works.

Guests can trade pins with Cast Members and other Guests throughout the parks and resorts. Both Epcot and Downtown Disney area have specific locations where Guests can meet to trade pins. You can stop by Pin Central in Future World at Epcot or Disney's Pin Traders at Downtown Disney Marketplace to meet Pin Traders and purchase more pins. You can also read more about Disney Pin Trading here.

My wife and I have started Disney pin collections for ourselves and our young children, but none of us have really gotten into the trading part of it yet. We enjoy collecting new pins during each visit to Walt Disney World and keep them on display at home to remind us of the fun we had during our family trip. I collect Mickey Mouse pins and my wife collects pins of her favorite princess, Belle. We also collect a pin from each Disney Resort hotel we stay at as a family. Our kids have their own special pin collections.

For more information about pins, visit www.DisneyPins.com. Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
