Golly Bob Howdy, Sarena!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with a question about my very favorite attraction in all of Walt Disney World -
Slinky Dog Dash! As a proud dog mom, I'm fond of all Disney dogs, but Slinky's iconic catchphrases and distinctive voice make his springy adventure through Andy's backyard a can't-miss experience for me during each magical vacation. Because of this, my husband and I have amassed quite a collection of
Disney PhotoPass photos aboard our preferred seat in Slinky dog's tail.
These attraction photos make such fun souvenirs because of their ability to candidly capture the excitement and magic of some of Walt Disney World's most beloved attractions, so I completely understand your disappointment that your Slinky Dog Dash photos have not yet shown up in your My Disney Experience app. Happily, there are a few different ways you can go about tracking down your photos.
- First, because photos can sometimes take a bit to appear (even miracles take a little time), I would suggest rechecking the Photo Gallery in your My Disney Experience app. Your photos can be found by selecting the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the app and scrolling until you see 'Photo Gallery'. You'll also want to double-check that all MagicBands or cards of Guests who experienced the attraction are linked to their My Disney Experience accounts. You can find the list of all cards and bands linked to your account by selecting 'MagicBands & Cards' located below where you earlier access your photo gallery in the app.
- If everything is properly linked and you still don't see your photos in the app, then you can report your missing photo online here. It is recommended to use as much detail as possible when completing the form, so it's great that you have the date and time the photo was captured. I also suggest including any other details you remember such as identifiable clothing or accessories and if you were in the front or back of the ride vehicle.
- If you're more comfortable using the My Disney Experience app, you'll find information about locating missing PhotoPass photos after selecting 'Help' underneath the aforementioned three horizontal lines.
While Disney PhotoPass helpfully provides resources for assistance in locating photos, it's important to keep in mind, that requesting a missing photo is just that - a request - but in my experience, Cast Members make every effort to connect Guests with their photos to help preserve magical memories. With this in mind, I hope you receive a magical update very soon, Sarena, and that you know
you've got a friend in me when it comes to maximizing the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
