Can you have the picture that is taken by the park as you go down the slide on Splash Mountain transfered onto your Photo Pass acount? Do you have to get a photo pass before you get to the parks or do they give you one at your first photo op. Thanks :)

PhotoPass cards are only available from the PhotoPass photographers located in the Disney theme parks, water parks, or Downtown Disney. There is nothing to get in advance. Your first PhotoPass photographer will give you a card when he or she takes your picture.

I LOVE the photos that are taken on the rides! One of my all time favorite family photos is of my husband and one of my daughters on Splash Mountain. They had gone off together for some special daddy/daughter bonding time. It happened that Splash Mountain had no line and they were able to get an entire log vehicle to themselves. The photo shows the two of them alone going down the big dive. My hubby is screaming his head off and holding on for dear life. My daughter, who was seven years old at the time, is wearing her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique bun and tiara, as pretty as a princess; she has her hands in the air and is grinning from ear to ear. It was a classic juxtaposition and a classic Disney moment.

    ... but I digress.

The only attraction for which the ride photos may be loaded onto a PhotoPass card is Test Track. This is not currently available for Splash Mountain or any other ride. You can read more about this in a related question HERE.
