Hi, Alonzo!
Thank you for contacting planDisney. I hope you are planning a fun visit to Disneyland Resort soon!
Guests visiting Disneyland typically do not need to show an ID to enter the theme parks unless they are activating an
Imagine Magic Key, using a
Military Ticket, or utilizing a Southern California Resident Special Ticket at this time. In these situations, a valid government-issued photo ID is required to prove eligibility. For example, Guests using the current
SoCal Resident Ticket Offer to enter a theme park must reside in ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. Copies or photos are not accepted in my experience, unfortunately. A driver's license, U.S. Passport, or Military ID are commonly used forms of identification, as long as they meet the ticket requirements (such as showing an address within eligible ZIP codes). You can also call the
"Tickets" or "Magic Key Holders" lines to speak with a helpful Cast Member to discuss options for your specific situation.
Also, the first time any ticket is scanned at a theme park entrance, a Cast Member will take your photo, which is then linked to the ticket. From there on out, the ticket is non-transferable. I bring my state-issued ID when I go to Disneyland just in case I need it for verifying credit card purchases, buying adult beverages, or checking into a Disneyland Resort hotel.
Did you know that the
Disney Parks Blog recently announced many fun events taking place at Disneyland in 2025? I cannot wait to sample all of the delicious Asian cuisine and make a wish at the Lunar New Year Wishing Wall during the
Lunar New Year celebration happening from January 17 through February 16, 2025. I am also excited to honor my favorite vacation destination at the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration next summer.
Alonzo, I hope you can find your ID or get a new one in time to visit Disneyland Resort! We hope to see you real soon!
Magic Happens!
Jen
