For Disneyland, I bought tickets for my family of 5 for two days but separate transactions. Now I have 2 tickets for each person linked to my Disney app. How do I know which tickets are for that day when using my phone to scan into a ride with multipass?

    Hello, Chantelle!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney. It is almost time to start packing for your visit to Disneyland Resort. How exciting! I recommend bringing a few essentials when visiting the theme parks in January, including warm jackets, gloves, sunscreen, and refillable water bottles. Also, don't forget a poncho, which can help keep backpacks dry on rainy days and is a great addition when riding Tiana's Bayou Adventure!

Most tickets will list the number of days remaining to use them in my experience. A One-Day Ticket should say something like "0 of 1 day remaining" after scanning into a theme park. The unused One-Day Ticket should say "1 of 1 day remaining." Also, tickets that have not been scanned at the entrance yet cannot be used within the parks and will most likely produce an error message if attempted.

Additionally, instead of using their theme park ticket to enter a Lightning Lane, most Guests who purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass can scan the Lightning Lane bar code that usually appears in their Disneyland app during their Lightning Lane redemption time period. Just open the app, select the three bars at the bottom, and choose "Rides, Shows & Lightning Lane Entry." Lightning Lane reservations should be listed below "My Day," which can be opened and scanned when it is time to enter the Lightning Lane. This way, you do not have to worry about which tickets to use!

If you leave the theme parks for an afternoon break or to visit the other Disneyland theme park on the same day (for Guests who have Park Hopper Tickets), just make sure you scan the correct ticket each time you reenter the parks. You would not want to scan both tickets on the same day!

I am glad you are visiting the theme parks before the Holidays at Disneyland are over. It is my most favorite time of year to vacation at "The Happiest Place on Earth!" Enjoy attractions with holiday overlays, including Haunted Mansion Holiday and "it's a small world" Holiday, and sample all of the seasonal treats! Over in Disney California Adventure Park, the Disney Festival of Holidays offers delicious food and unique experiences for the entire family!

Chantelle, have a wonderful visit to Disneyland Resort! We hope to see you real soon!

    Happy holidays!
