The pics of sci fi cafe show 4 diners, 2 adults and 2 kids . Are there larger cars that can hold larger parties and can the cars accomodate high chairs? We will be a party of 9 (5 a, 4 k) including an almost 2 year old. Thanks for the great answers!

The rows in the cars at the Sci-Fi Dine-In can accommodate two adults or three mid-sized children. Some of the cars have two rows and some have three. I ate at the Sci-Fi recently with my family of 5 (me, hubby, and three girls ages 12, 9 and 9) and my parents. All seven of us were in one of the largest cars.

If you have a group larger than ours was, you can still eat at the Sci-Fi, but you may be seated at one of the few regular tables in the restaurant, rather than in a car. If you want to eat all in cars, they will have to seat you in two separate vehicles. In many restaurants, I would tell you that it is a problem to be seated at two tables. However, at the Sci-Fi it almost doesn't matter. Because you are all facing a screen and watching movie clips, this is not really a place that's conducive to conversation.

As for the high chair question, it depends a bit on the servers that happen to be there at the time. Some servers will place a high chair next to a car. Other servers will only put high chairs at the table-style seating. You can make a request, but it is not guaranteed to be honored.
