Does the "Picnic in the Park" qualify as a 'Quick Service" meal?

The new Picnic in the Park dining option at the Animal Kingdom sounds wonderful. You can read more about it HERE.

To answer your question, yes, the Picnic does qualify as a Quick Service meal on the Disney Dining Plan. Each meal amount will require one ADULT Dining Plan meal credit. Child credits will not work. So if, for example, two adults and a five year old child wanted to enjoy the Picnic in the Park, they would be required to use three adult Quick Service credits to do this.
