I have 2 very picky eaters and would like to do Fantasmic dinner package, just to save on waiting time. Which restaurant would you consider the best option for us? Going in Sept 08. Thanks for your time!

When I hear "picky eaters" I think BUFFET!  Buffets provide the widest selections of foods, and also the option to sample many options and pick and chose the things you want to eat on your second (or third or...) round. Based on this, your best option of the three Fantasmic Dinner Package restaurants (Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, and Hollywood & Vine) is Hollywood & Vine (or "H&V) - which is the only buffet option of the three restaurants.  H&V also happens to be the cheapest option for a Fantasmic Dinner Package.'s a buffet, and it is more economical.  Sounds like that "seals the deal" as your best bet. Especially if your main criteria is to simply qualify for the reserved seating at Fantasmic!, H&V sounds like the winner.

My whole family did the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood & Vine and thought it was a fine selection.  Of course it's not the absolute best restaurant at WDW, but it had plenty of tasty options to meet the varying demands of all my kids as well as us parents.  We were very satisfied.

Of course, if your picky eaters have very upscale taste, you should go to the Hollywood Brown Derby.  It is by far the best dining option overall, in terms of upscale gourmet food, but it is also by far the most expensive.  All of us on the Moms Panel ate there last December, and I'd have to say it ranks among the top dining experiences I've had at WDW (of course dining with 11 great gals, who are also Disney Fanatics didn't hurt!).  I'm planning to repeat there this December with my family.

    Hope that helps.
