    I am picking up a rental car at Orlando airport and want to return it to either my resort or Disney springs. Can I do this and where

    Hello there Tina!

    Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for zooming by with your car rental question. My family always flies into the Orlando airport (MCO) and typically prefers staying right onsite at the Disney World Resort property. You just can't beat staying immersed in that magical bubble! So we often forgo renting a vehicle, or just use one for a portion of our trip.

    Let's talk car rental options near Disney World! There may not be a car rental return right at your Disney Resort, but the Walt Disney World Car Care Center is your next best bet. They are located on property, and offer a shuttle service to/from all Disney Resorts when renting a vehicle.

    Because Enterprise, Alamo, and National are the official car rental companies of Walt Disney World, they are the most convenient option. These are the rental agencies available at the on-property Walt Disney World Car Care Center (address is 1000 Car Care Center Drive, Orlando, FL, if it helps with reservations). It's very slick to rent with either a pick-up or return location at the Car Care Center when staying at a Disney Resort. Their shuttle service is typically pretty prompt, and in our experience the entire process took 30-60 minutes to pick-up or return a car from our Disney Resort. In your case, you would return your rental there, and their shuttle would give you a ride to your resort.

    There are a few other options in the area to rent or return a vehicle. National also has a location at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort (1500 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Orlando, FL). Avis is available at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, in the Disney Springs area (Location code "LB3", 1751 Hotel Plaza Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL). And Budget has a location near Disney Springs at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando (Location code "M03").

    Hopefully this gives you a few options, Tina! Again, I think you'll be most happy with the convenience of returning a rental at the Car Care Center and grabbing an easy shuttle ride back to your Disney Resort... where you can get right back to having fun and making magical memories!
