    We have a pickey kid who only wants hot dogs. We went to Disney World in 2012 and didn't have much luck finding restaurants with hot dogs on the kids meal. On the Disney Dinning Plan and still had to shell out extra money to buy the kid a hot dog. Help?

    Hi Stephanie! I am the mother of a picky eater too, so I feel your pain. One of the reasons I love visiting Disney is that we've found the restaurants to be very accommodating of finicky eaters. My son's food of choice is a grilled cheese sandwich, and at many table-service restaurants he's been able to order one for his meal even though it doesn't appear on the menu. It never hurts to ask if the kitchen could make your son a hot dog if nothing else on the menu appeals to him; you may find that some restaurants keep hot dogs on hand to accommodate picky children. Restaurants like 'Ohana and the Hoop-Dee-Doo have alternative menus available upon request and they've always been able to accommodate my son. To make the most out of your Disney Dining Plan, however, your best bet is to make reservations at restaurants where hot dogs appear on the menu. While menus are always subject to change, you'll currently find hot dogs at these table-service restaurants:

    Beaches & Cream
    Big River Grille and Brewing Works
    Captain's Grille
    ESPN Club
    Hollywood Brown Derby
    Kona Cafe
    Akershus
    Rainforest Cafe
