I would like to pick up my granddaughters packets for Princess Half Marathon Kids Races. I have waivers signed by their parents. My husband is the one who registered them. Thank You

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Denise! Princess Half Marathon Weekend is one of my favorite times of the yEAR at Walt Disney World Resort!  Your granddaughters are going to have a royal time doing the runDisney Kids Races. My son participated in the One Mile Run last yEAR, and he loved it so much, he's doing it again this yEAR!  Tell the girls to look for Minnie. She'll be at the finish line giving high fives, and PhotoPass Photographers will be out on the course capturing this magical moment.

I spoke with a runDisney Cast Member today, and she said only legal guardians are allowed to pick up race packets for minors, regardless of who signed them up or even if you have waivers signed by the parents (the race volunteers will ask you to show proper ID).  I know this probably isn't the information you wanted to hear, but the policy is in place for safety reasons.  If you'd like more information, try contacting them (407) 939-iRUN or (407) 939-4786.

Make sure to visit the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo- it's where you’ll go to pick up the race bibs and gEAR bags.  The girls will also get a commemorative race t-shirt and medal. My son and I always wear ours to the parks afterwards to celebrate our accomplishments!  It's amazing how many congratulatory messages you'll hEAR from Cast Members and Guests.

So, get ready, and get set to GO and have fun during race weekend, Denise- only a few more sleeps!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
