Can I get physical card/pass mailed to me in advance? I don't want to pay for the magicbands, and I don't want to wait until we are at the parks/disney springs. Is there a way to get them in advance or at hotel checkin?

    Hi Katie,

    Welcome back to planDisney!

When you purchase your Theme Park Tickets online, there is an option to have them shipped directly to you. If you have not purchased your tickets yet, make sure to select "See more delivery options" when you purchase and opt to have them shipped to your home address. If you choose this delivery method, you will need to bring the physical tickets with you to the theme park each day. If you have already purchased your tickets you should have a confirmation number that can be used to attach your digital tickets to your My Disney Experience account.

Disney World has done a great job of going digital and making it easy to get in and out of the theme parks with just your phone. Disney MagicMobile turns your cell phone into a MagicBand. We used to swear by the MagicBands, but there are members of our travel party who don't like keeping up with them. This is a great alternative because it connects with the My Disney Experience app and enables you to add a pass to your phone wallet that can be used for theme park tickets, PhotoPass images, virtual queues, Lightning Lane entrances, and Mobile Food and Beverage Orders. You will not need any physical tickets as long as you have the tickets you ordered linked to your My Disney Experience account.

If you are set on having physical tickets for your trip, you still have a few options. You can call the Existing Ticket help line to see if they have the ability to reprocess your order and ship the physical tickets directly to you. Since your arrival date is still pretty far away, they may be able to do this. There will be a shipping fee applied to cover the cost. If all else fails, you can always stop by a ticket window booth at any of the four Disney World theme parks or the Front Desk at your Disney Resort hotel to grab your physical tickets.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
