Welcome to planDisney, Beth! Say, "Cheese!" I just returned from
Walt Disney World Resort, and looking through my photos is the best thing I've found to keep away the Disney blues. Let's look at some ways to retrieve those missing images so your magical memories will be complete.
I understand the disappointment when you're looking forward to a particular attraction photo or
Magic Shot, and it's not there. My family specializes in wacky ride poses, so I get it! We once brought small pillows and blankies and snuggled up like we were napping on
Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. Even the Yeti would've chuckled at that one!
I'm not sure when your missing pictures were snapped, but I've found that attraction photos and Magic Shots can sometimes take a day or two to show up in My Photos, so my first tip is to keep checking to see if they've magically appeared.
If you still don't see them, you can contact
Disney PhotoPass Service to request they track any missing images. The more details you can share, the better your chances. There's even an option to upload a photo of the people who are in the missing picture! The Cast Members will do their best to find you pictures, but I can't promise they'll succeed. I'm crossing my fingers and flashbulbs, hoping you'll hear good news!
Another suggestion would be to have all those details ready and call the
Disney PhotoPass Guest Support Team for help.
I've had a couple of pals go through this process, and they said it took a week or more to hear back, but in both cases, my friends' photos were located! That's the best kind of pixie dust.
Beth, please stop by
planDisney anytime. We love helping guests "focus" on having the best trips possible. Get ready for your close-up!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
