Greetings, Kaityln.
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you recently returned from a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm glad to hEAR you had the opportunity to come "home" during
The World's Most Magical Celebration but know the post-Disney blues are likely stronger with you than the Force is with Rey. I've been there and felt that. You know what cheers me up? I put on my favorite Disney movie or attraction ride-through video and snack on some popcorn out of my souvenir popcorn bucket. Perhaps the same will work for you!
Reminiscing over past
Walt Disney World Resort vacation photos is one of my favorite things to do to relive the magic and memories, so I understand your concern with losing some of your pictures and would be happy to help.
Disney PhotoPass pictures do indeed expire 45 days from the date they were taken, but the friendly Cast Members on the
Disney PhotoPass Guest Support Team might be able to help you recover your lost photos. It's
not a guarantee, but it's certainly worth a try! You should give them a ring at (407) 560-4300 to see if they can wave their magic wand and make some magic happen.
If they are able to restore your expired photos and those photos were a part of a qualifying
Memory Maker purchase, you should consider
purchasing a Disney PhotoPass Archive USB flash drive. It will have all the photos from your trip loaded onto it, so it would be the perfect backup system for your treasured memories.
Kaitlyn, I'm crossing my fingers for you and hoping your photos are restored. Please stop back by
planDisney again If we can help you with any other questions you have. Remember, you are the magic!
Tomorrow is just a dream away,
Alyssa
