Jambo, Jordana!
Thanks for trekking over to planDisney with your question. It sounds like you recently had a wild day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I'm glad you took time to meet Mickey & Minnie at
Adventurers Outpost, but sorry to hear your photo adventures didn't make the journey to your Photo Gallery. This is usually a quick fix, so let's walk through the action steps together.
First, be sure your images are linked to your My Disney Experience account. I usually have the photographer tap my MagicBand+ right after our photo session, but if you didn't use a MagicBand or MagicMobile Pass during your visit, your party should have been issued a
Disney PhotoPass card with a unique code for your images.Once you've located the card, you can link your images using the
My Disney Experience app. Navigate to the feature menu (☰) at the bottom right of your screen and scroll down to the Disney PhotoPass section. Click "Photo Gallery" and then click the three dots at the top right corner of your screen. You'll see the "Link Photos" option at the bottom of the list. Scan the card or type in the 16-digit PhotoPass ID to connect the images to your account. Pro tip from one adventurer to another: You can use the same PhotoPass card throughout the parks instead of getting a new one at each photo stop. Photographers can also scan your personal PhotoPass code right from your phone, which you'll find by following the steps to link above and selecting the third option "Show PhotoPass Code." I've saved a screenshot of my QR code to my phone for quick access in the past.
If you've already completed the steps above or you didn't receive (or can't find) the PhotoPass card from your visit, Hakuna Matata (it means no worries)! Look for the "Not Seeing All Your Photos?" banner within your Photo Gallery and click the link to "Visit Disney PhotoPass Support." You can also click the three dots at the top right corner of your screen and select "Get Help" at the bottom of the list.
Scroll down to "Contact Us," then click "Memory Maker and Disney PhotoPass." Choose "Missing Photo" then input all the requested details, including the park, the date, and the approximate time the photo was taken, along with a description. You can even upload another photo of your group from the same day, so Cast Members have an idea of your outfit colors and group demographics. Once you’ve completed all the fields, click “Submit” to send your request on its journey.
You'll receive an email confirmation of your request and another one when/if your photos have been tracked down. In my experience, almost all of my missing photos have been located within a few days. I'll keep my fingers crossed that yours will appear just as quickly!
Jordana, if you need further assistance, please board a safari back to planDisney or reach out to
Disney PhotoPass support by phone.
Magic and memories,
Amy
