Will there be Photopass photographers at Savi’s lightsaber and the build a droid workshops? I would love photos!

Rising moons, Sarah! It's wonderful to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel again!

One of my fellow Moms Panel Travelers, Jessica, journeyed to Batuu today for the opening of the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. She reported back from Black Spire Outpost that no PhotoPass Photographers will be stationed this fall at Savi's Workshop or Droid Depot. Things could certainly change by the time of your trip, however, so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for updates. Here's some Moms Panel tips for the best do-it-yourself smartphone photos: turn your flash off and use HDR for photos which have different contrasts in light and dark, and use burst mode for action shots. Also, if posting to social media, use the square photo option to reduce the need for cropping later.

Speaking of social media, if you have a Twitter account, I recommend following @DisneyPhotoPass. Just today, they posted two fabulous PhotoPass opportunities exclusively for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I especially love the EXTRAterrestrial fun Magic Shot on Batuu!

I hope you're able to capture all the magical memories, Sarah.  May the Spires Keep You!

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
