Hi Carlos, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I always take way more pictures with my friends when we have
Memory Maker, from getting a classic Cinderella Castle picture to action shots on the rides. So I’d be happy to help troubleshoot the issue you’re having with your pictures.
Memory Maker lets you download all photos and videos taken of you and your family and friends. So if you’re seeing watermarks on some of the pictures, there are three things I’d recommend checking.
First, make sure Memory Maker is linked to your MyDisney account. If you’re able to download your own pictures, you’re probably all set here. Memory Maker is automatically linked if you purchased it while logged into your MyDisney account. Otherwise, you need to do it manually. To do this, open the
My Disney Experience app, go to ☰ in the lower right corner, and then Shop Memory Maker (under Disney PhotoPass). On the next screen, scroll to the bottom and press Link It to Your Account. Here you can input the Memory Maker ID from your order confirmation. Once it’s linked and your first photo is added, you should be prompted to activate your Memory Maker purchase.
Second is to check that your friends are connected to your MyDisney account through your
Family & Friends List. In the My Disney Experience app, go back to ☰ in the lower right corner and then Profile (under Account). Select Family & Friends List towards the top. If your friends aren’t on this list, scroll down to Add a Guest. Follow the prompts to add them. Once they confirm in their MyDisney accounts, you should be able to download photos linked to their profiles.
Finally, Memory Maker allows you to download photos of up to 25 family members and friends. So if you have more than 25 people on your Family & Friends List, you’ll need to whittle down your list. In the app, you can select someone’s profile and press Remove from My List.
If this still doesn’t resolve the issue, I’d recommend calling the
Disney PhotoPass Support phone number. A Cast Member would be happy to help troubleshoot.
The next time you’re at Disney World, don’t miss the
Tiny World and
Super Zoom Magic Shots. They’re one of my favorite group pictures at Disney World since they’re so unique. And you can find them in all four theme parks!
I hope this helps you get access to all of your PhotoPass pictures. And if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney!
