I have PhotoPass+ and a lunch reservation at Tusker House. Are we able to take photos with our own camera? I am reluctant to pay for photos that I could have had included in PP+ an hour before, during breakfast!

    Hi Jill,

You are always welcome to use your own camera to take photos at Walt Disney World, and I strongly encourage you to do so.

The PhotoPass photographers at the character meals are simply stationed outside for a posed photo. They do not wander around the restaurant taking pictures of every child with every character. If you want these precious photos, you should take them on your own.

As for the posed photo at the front, you can also ask the someone to use your camera to capture this.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
