Photopass, is still confusing me. If I have pictures taken in the parks, I can buy per picture when I get home OR I can prepay approx $100 and "own" all the pictures on the card, is that correct? 112 days to go,you've been a great help with the

You're mostly right. With PhotoPass, you can purchase individual photo prints either while you are at WDW or online while you are at home. (Home is the easier way to go, in my opinion.) Prices vary, but you could expect to spend in the neighborhood of $12 per print buying the photos individually.

Instead of (or in addition to) buying prints, you could also buy the digital files of your photos on CD. You can purchase this either before you leave for WDW or after your trip is over. Prices can change, but the current list price of the CD is approximately $125. There are often pre-purchase discounts that bring the cost of the CD close to $100 if bought before your trip. With the photo CD, you are given the files of all your pictures for the one flat fee. If you have 100 PhotoPass pictures taken, your cost would be approximately $1 per photo with the CD. If you wanted Disney prints of 100 photos it would cost you more than $1,000. As you can see, the CD makes financial sense very quickly. And once you have the CD, you do own the images. You can use them to make prints, upload them to your blog, put them on your holiday cards, or whatever you want to do with them.

There is an excellent discussion of all things PhotoPass on the website stitchkingdom.com. Look for the "Definitive Guide to Disney's PhotoPass" there.
