Hi Shelli, There is no requirement to prepurchase anything from PhotoPass. You are welcome to get a free card from any of the PhotoPass photographers, just ask. You can have as many pictures as you like taken during your vacation at no charge. When you get home, you can look at your pictures for up to 30 days. If you like the photos, you can order prints, a CD of JPEGs, or a number of other products. If you're unhappy with the photos, you're under no obligation to order anything. I like Potopass because it's a great way to get everyone in the family in one shot, but if you don't like the way your pictures turn out, you don't have to buy them. Good luck with your planning.
