Is the photo memory maker called capture your moment? It is $99 from what I am looking at

    Hi Ellie!

Welcome to planDisney! I’m usually the picture taker in my family, so having Memory Maker is always a must on our trips. That way, I can actually be in the photos with my family! Let’s chat about all of your options to make sure you’re able to capture all of the incredible memories you’re about to make, too.

Purchasing Memory Maker will allow you to download the photos taken by the PhotoPass Photographers around the parks and resorts. After the photographer takes your picture, you’ll scan your park ticket or MagicBand. Then, you’ll see your photos pop up in your My Disney Experience app (just click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner and scroll down until you see Disney PhotoPass).

You have a couple of Memory Maker packages to choose from, and you can purchase them online or in your My Disney Experience app. Memory Maker will allow you to download all of your photos from your entire Disney vacation, while Memory Maker One Day allows you to download all of your photos from one specific day.

If you purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days in advance of your trip, you’ll snag it at a discounted rate! But no worries if you haven’t made up your mind by then. You’ll still be able to have photos taken during your trip and purchase Memory Maker after viewing the photos. It’s good to note that your photos will eventually expire, though. So, if you see some you love, make sure to download them as soon as you can.

PhotoPass Photographers can be found all over Walt Disney World…you can’t miss them! The easiest way to find their specific locations is by using the My Disney Experience app. Click the location pin on the bottom of the screen, then click the down arrow next to “Wait Times.” Choose “PhotoPass,” and a bunch of locations will pop up on the screen.  You can click each individual location to see what that photo spot looks like.

Now, let’s move on to Capture Your Moment. This is a special photo shoot that you can book separately from your Memory Maker package. During a Capture Your Moment session, you’ll have a 20-minute time period for personalized photos. This is a great add-on if you’re celebrating something extra special or if you just want some nice photos to remember your fun trip.

You can book a Capture Your Moment session 60 days in advance. And you can choose any of the 4 theme parks to have your session at pending availability. The session does not include the photo downloads, so if you want all of your photos from the session, you’ll want to purchase one of the Memory Maker packages.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
