With your Walt Disney World Resort vacation just days away, I'm sure you would like to take care of those last-minute details so you are all set and ready to enjoy the magic!
If you did not request connecting rooms at the time of booking, you'll want to
give the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line a call at (407) 939-1936 to note your request. Hold times are sometimes long, so I recommend calling first thing in the morning when the phone lines open at 7:00 am ET. You might also try the chat feature in the upper right corner of the
Help Center page, or "Chat With Us" in the
My Disney Experience mobile app -- use the menu button in the lower right corner to find the chat feature. Although requests for connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed, I can tell you that my family has always been assigned connecting rooms when requested.
If you have
linked your resort stay or vacation package to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to note your expected arrival time when completing
Online Check-In. You can complete or update Online Check-In under "My Plans" on the My Disney Experience website, or under "Future Plans" on the mobile app. With online check-in, you'll be able to use
Direct-to-Room Service, and will receive a notification from My Disney Experience when your rooms are ready. Check-in time at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort -- Riverside is 3:00 pm, so although Cast Members will do their best to have your rooms ready for you earlier, it may not be possible. If you arrive prior to your rooms being available, store your luggage with Bell Services and enjoy the amenities of your resort, or take a relaxing
boat ride along the Sassagoula River to
Disney Springs to enjoy lunch and some shopping until your rooms are ready.
