Hi Bethann!
Welcome to planDisney!
There are currently some ticket types that require theme park reservations and some that do not. If your 4-day park hopper ticket is date-based (in which you picked a start date when purchasing the ticket), you will not need to make any park reservations for your trip.
If your ticket is not date-based (which includes, but is not limited to,
Annual Passes, sport or convention tickets, military tickets, and
some special offer tickets), you will need a park reservation for each park day. You can
make your park reservations at this link, pending availability.
If you’re not quite sure if you need one or not, I recommend attempting to make a park reservation after you have your ticket linked to your account. As you go through the prompts to make a park reservation, you will need to choose the ticket that the park reservation will be for. If you do not need a park reservation, the ticket will be listed under a section that states that.
For more assistance, you can always call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone line listed on the
Help Center page of Disney World’s website. A friendly Cast Member would be happy to help!
When using a park hopper ticket that requires a park reservation, make sure you scan into the park where you made your park reservation first. After that, you’ll be able to hop to any park, pending capacity.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
