Yo ho, Dianne!
We're so glad you sailed by planDisney with your question. I'm thrilled to hear you're considering a Disney Cruise Line voyage! My family disembarked Disney Dream earlier this month, and we're already plotting our next adventure on the high seas. Once you feel that pixie-dusted wind in your sails, dry land just doesn’t compare.
I like reviewing all the sail dates, destinations, and ship options from the
"Plan a Cruise" section of the website, so I can take my time finding the perfect bit of treasure that fits my family's hectic schedule. I've found that selecting a stateroom and paying our initial deposit is quick and easy, but I can completely understand wanting to speak with a Crew Member to make sure your vacation plans are shipshape.
Once you're ready to parlay, you can reach out by phone Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 10 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am to 8 pm at (800) 951-3532. Phone numbers can sometimes change, so I recommend double-checking the
phone directory here before calling. Savvy?
My family has always sailed out of the Port Canaveral or Port Everglades terminals in Florida and visited
Disney Castaway Cay on each sailing. We've made a tradition of renting bikes to explore the island, swimming out to Pelican Plunge to splash into that crystal blue water, eating plenty of DIY ice cream cookie sandwiches, and lounging in a hammock before returning to the ship at the end of a sun-filled day of adventure.
On our most recent voyage, we also experienced
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point for the first time, and I'm happy to report that a whole new set of traditions has been born. The water was so calm, the sand was powder soft, and the natural beauty of the island took our breath away!
Dianne, you're sure to love any sailing you choose, but if you need more guidance, please don't hesitate to chart a course back to planDisney and let us know. We'd be happy to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
