    Philippines Citizen with a U.S. Visa going on a cruise from Port-Carneval to Castaway Cay. Is a Bahamas Visa required even though the cruise is not going anywhere else in the Bahamas and is visiting the island for less than one full day

    If I could pick just one cruise destination, Castaway Cay would be my top choice every time! With its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and that signature Disney magic, it’s the perfect place for an unforgettable day.

    Although Castaway Cay is a Disney paradise, it is also part of the Bahamas, which means all visitors must follow Bahamian visa requirements. Currently, citizens of the Philippines need a Bahamian visa to visit. I highly recommend checking the Disney Cruise Line website for the most up-to-date information on required travel documents. You can also apply for a visa online through the Government of The Bahamas website.     Castaway Cay fun fact: The island has its own runway, Castaway Cay Airport (MYAG)! While no longer used for flights, it now serves as a bike and tram path—be sure to check it out during your visit!
