Welcome to planDisney, Garth! As a fellow Floridian, I hope you're enjoying your visit to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. Isn't it nice to have Mickey as our neighbor? It sounds like you're hoping to sail over London and straight on till morning, so let's look at one of my favorite attractions, Peter Pan's Flight. Here we goooooo!
I first rode this colorful, mesmerizing attraction as a small child at Disneyland Park in California. The forced perspective really fooled me because I thought I was flying so high! I never forgot cruising aboard my own pirate ship, so when I took my son on the
Magic Kingdom Park version decades later, I may have had a tear in my eye.
I must not be the only one who loves this Fantasyland attraction because it often has fairly long wait times. You can keep an eye on those times in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. The good news is that the standby queue has some fabulous interactive features. I won't spoil the surprise, but keep your eyes peeled for Tink!
Another way to enjoy Peter Pan's Flight is to purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This attraction is in the group you can initially choose only one from, and since it is so popular, I recommend selecting it as one of your three initial
Multi Pass attractions.
If you need more information about the attraction or its restrictions, you can find it in your mobile app or
on the website. Just click "Show Safety" for details about accessibility and more.
Finally, if you're the Peter Pan fan I think you are, you can see the boy who never grew up and his pals during the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade each afternoon. This fact may not surprise you, but Pan's float is my favorite!
Garth, I'm thinking happy thoughts that you can have an adventure in Neverland during your visit. Head back to
planDisney anytime. I'll be the one wearing Mr. Smee stripes!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
