Welcome to
planDisney, Raymond! You definitely have some options when it comes to visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your dogs.
I plan an annual trip to the
Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort with my family and my dogs. They love it there!
But you don’t have to stay at a cabin, there are three other
Pet Friendly Disney Resort Collection hotels. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans- Riverside Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are also Pet Friendly.
You would be allowed two dogs per stay, at a fee of $50-$75 per night. (Remember that these prices are subject to change.)
We usually bring dog crates during our visits, but it’s important to know that in order to receive housekeeping, you will have to make an appointment. Housekeeping staff will not enter your Resort hotel room if the dogs are inside. When they are left alone, you are required to put the “do not disturb” hanger on the door handle to alert Cast Members that dogs are present.
To make an appointment, just dial the housekeeping button on your in-room telephone to schedule a time. While the Cast Member is tidying up, you can take your dogs on a nice walk to enjoy the property.
Raymond, your dog will also get a welcome gift from Pluto! It usually includes some bowls, a placemat and some small waste bags. My dogs still use the bowls we brought home on our last trip!
In my family, our dogs are family and they love a road trip! We always try to include them as much as we can when we travel. I think you will find that bringing your dog can be a fun and smooth experience.
Don’t hesitate to stop by again if you have any more questions. Helping you with all the details of your next
magical vacation is our pleasure!
