I've persuaded my husband to spend our new-bathroom savings on a trip to WDW instead. Caribbean works out slightly more expensive than Coronado. We're not bothered about the pools, so is it worth paying the bit extra? What else is different between them?

    Hi Immy,

A Disney trip will be so much better than a new bathroom, when I was a kid my Dad actually spent the new carpet money on a Disney holiday not once but twice, my Mum nearly killed him but my sister and I loved him for it!!!

Anyway onto your question, both resorts are beautiful but quite large, I'm not sure if you're bringing children with you but if it's just adults I would definitely recommend Coronado Springs. I recently stayed in one of their refurbished rooms and with it's crisp white bed linen, dark wood furniture and flat screen TV the room had a very deluxe feel about it. If you do have children though I'm sure they would love the new Nemo or Pirate rooms at the Caribbean Beach.

Both hotels are classed as moderate and have very similar facilities, Coronado does have a health club including a gym which the Caribbean doesn't.

I recommend you have a look on the website www.allears.net and look at both resorts on the accommodation page, there are many photos and a fact sheet to view.

Both hotels have fantastic theming and coming from the UK you'll feel as though you've been transported to either Mexico or the Caribbean whilst staying in Florida. I'm sure which ever you choose you'll have a great trip and if I can help in any other way just click on "meet the Moms" choose me then click the "ask Jo a question" tab.
