Hi Taylor! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sending in your "
grill-iant" question! It sounds like you’re already dreaming up some delicious barbecue. What a tasty way to spend your vacation!
I adore the Treehouse Villas at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Each of these unique villas, elevated 10 feet off the ground and surrounded by peaceful forest, comes with its own private charcoal grill located at the base. So if you’re staying in a Treehouse Villa, that grill is all yours to enjoy!
If you’re thinking about staying elsewhere, you’ll be happy to know that many Disney Vacation Club Resorts offer grills for guests to use. At Saratoga Springs, for example, there are several communal grilling areas located throughout the resort, including near the Grandstand Pool, the Congress Park Pool, and the Carousel BBQ Pavilion. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can’t be reserved in advance, but they’re a great option if you’re hoping to fire up a quick meal. Charcoal, matches, and lighters are available for purchase at
The Artist’s Palette (next to the Carriage House), and if you need grilling tools, you can swing by the
Community Hall near the High Rock Spring Pool.
Other DVC resorts offer similar options. Some, like the
Cabins at Fort Wilderness, have their own private grills right outside. Others, including BoardWalk Villas, Grand Floridian, and even the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, have shared grilling areas. Some of these resorts use charcoal, while others offer gas grills; it just depends on the property.
So if you’re hoping for a fun evening cookout with your crew, Disney’s got you covered. I hope this answer was grill-master worthy, Taylor! Let us know if you have any more questions. We’re always happy to help.
All the best,
Eean
