Will a personal device with a plug in speed controller be allowed on the boat.

    Ahoy there, Afshan,

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your cruise question. A Disney Cruise is on the horizon, so I know you must be excited to set sail soon. Captains Mickey and Minnie can't wait to welcome you aboard the most magical cruise line on the high seas!

It sounds like you are working on your packing list, Afshan. I reached out to Disney Cruise Line about your question, and they did not see it on the prohibited and restricted items list. However, I do recommend packing the plug-in speed controller in your carry-on luggage, which will go through security with you at the cruise terminal. If, for some reason, it cannot be brought on board, it will be held for you during your voyage and will be available for pickup after you pass through U.S. Customs. If it is packed in your checked luggage and there is any question about it, your luggage may take a little longer to arrive outside your stateroom door on embarkation day.

As you continue planning for your voyage, Afshan, please let us know if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation with DCL! We are always happy to help.
