Have any of the 5 person rooms (w/trundle) at POR been renovated? Should we request a renovated room when we check in online? Thanks again!

    Hi Daniel,
How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World in just a few short weeks!!!  You are going to love Port Orleans Riverside as exciting changes are happening at this resort location!  I have spoken with the front desk at the Port Orleans Riverside and they have confirmed that some of the 5 person guest rooms have been renovated at this point, but the renovation will not be completed until the summer of 2012.  The rooms are in the process of being converted from 2 double beds with a trundle, into 2 queen beds with a murphy bed option for the 5th guest. You may request a renovated room on your online check in, but please be aware that it is not a guarantee. For more information, you may call the Port Orleans Riverside directly at (407)934-6000. Thanks for visiting the Walt Disney World Mom's Panel. Please let us know if we can answer any more questions about your upcoming trip!  I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!!  :-) Jodie
