Howdy, Cecilia!
Welcome to
planDisney, a group of the rootinest tootinest Disney vacation enthusiasts you will ever meet this side of
Disneyland! I am so glad that you decided to bring your question here, and I would be happy to help lasso an answer for you.
Upon the reopening of
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park, theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing. Park attendance is managed through a new
theme park reservation system that will require all Guests to obtain a park reservation for park entry in advance. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks, and proof of residency may be required.
I am pleased to inform you that theme park tickets can be linked to multiple accounts, making it possible for you to make your
theme park reservations even though your tickets were purchased by someone else. To link your theme park tickets you will need to open the
Disneyland mobile app and select the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the screen, which will take you to the main menu. You can then select “Tickets and Passes” and then the “+” symbol in the upper right corner of the screen. You will then need to select “Link Tickets & Passes.” At this point, you will either enter the number manually or scan the bar code for each ticket. If you are still having trouble linking your theme park tickets to your Disney account, please contact Disneyland Resort Ticket Helpline at (714) 781-4636 for a Cast Member’s assistance. Once your tickets are linked to your Disney account, you can make your theme park reservations. You can check theme park reservation availability on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure the dates you want to reserve are available.
I hope you have a wonderful visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth! Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at
planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
