What can I do if a person was coming on vacation and I linked the Magic Band to them and they were not able to come. How can I reassign to the new person.

    Heigh-Ho James,

Thank you for bringing your curiouser and curiouser inquiry to planDisney. Disney MagicBands come in a variety of colors and styles and are a great way for Guests to show their Disney-side around their wrist. But once a Disney MagicBand is assigned to a Guest it can NOT be reassigned to another Guest, they are non-transferable.

However, Guests have other ways to gain access to their tickets, it is not necessary to have a Disney MagicBand. Prior to entering their first Walt Disney World Park Guests can visit a Cast Member at any Guest Relations/Ticket Counter or Resort Front Desk and have a Key To The World card assigned to them. This is a hard copy ticket that has all the same privileges as a Disney MagicBand. Another option is to create and learn about the Disney MagicMobile service. Through your Apple or Google Pay Android device Guests can turn their tickets into a digital pass easily accessed on your device. But ultimately, if a Disney MagicBand is the way you prefer then feel free to shop the huge selection at many of the shops around Walt Disney World. Once purchased they can easily and quickly be linked to your Guest via your My Disney Experience app

We look forward to welcoming you home real soon and may your visit be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
