    What are the permanent closures happening in 2024?

    Hello there Priscilla, welcome back to planDisney!

    Based on what you've asked our team of researchers and experts in the past, it definitely seems like you're someone who likes to look well into the future of what to expect with the year ahead and I'm definitely the same! Though the Hours & Events Calendar is limited to showing what's closed for refurbishment on certain dates, it also looks like you've set your arrival date to tomorrow, so at this point I highly recommend asking the folks at Guest Relations if they have any specific information that they're able to share regarding anything permanently closing at Walt Disney World Resort! When I dropped by to ask about what we can expect this year, there are a few things that were announced to be currently in the works which could mean the end to these experiences:

    • While new and exciting restaurants are opening at Disney Springs, we have already said goodbye to The Art of Shaving as well as ALEX & ANI at the start of the year.

    I highly recommend keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more of the latest news and updates online and on social media, so you can be among the first to know about anything else closing in the upcoming year. But in the spirit of Walt Disney and his constant push for change, growth and new developments on the horizon, who knows what else we may be saying farewell to in 2024?
