What are the perks for staying at the Contemporary Resort

Hi Lucille! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney!

If you’re thinking about planning a stay at Walt Disney World Resort I think it’s always a good idea to stay right within the magic at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.  As a Guest of a Disney Resort you’ll be as close as possible to the Theme Parks, Water Parks and dining, shopping and entertainment district of Disney Springs.  You’ll also receive other amazing benefits like Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (for Guests of Deluxe Resorts - like Disney’s Contemporary Resort!), have complimentary transportation all around the more than 40 square miles of the Resort, and you might even get to enjoy some pixie-dusted magic you just can’t find anywhere else in the world.

While I’m still working on finding the time to stay in each and every Disney Resort I have had the chance to stay in quite a few over the years.  From Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to Disney’s Beach Club Resort you’ll find that each Resort’s immersive theming creates a magical and memorable experience for its Guests.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort not only has magnificent views of Cinderella Castle and Magic Kingdom as a whole, you’ll also be close enough to walk back and forth during the day! Being just steps away from Space Mountain and Peter Pan’s Flight is certainly a perk, especially if you have little ones who need a midday break for a nap or a swim!  With the Monorail riding right through your hotel, the magic doesn’t end when you leave the Parks.

Besides location, the Contemporary also has delicious and delightful dining options.  If you’re looking for a Character Dining Experience, look no further than your own Resort where you can dine with the “Fab 5” at Chef Mickey’s! Looking for a piece of Disney history with dinner? Stop by Steakhouse 71, named for the year that Disney’s Contemporary Resort first opened! If you’re really looking for a magical experience you might also think about finding a table at California Grill where you’ll have a fabulous view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks!

I sincerely hope you and your family are able to experience all the wonders of this incredible Disney Resort.

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
