If I get 150 per year, how many points can a borrow from the next year?

Welcome to planDisney, Martin, and Welcome Home!

Flexibility is a key feature of a Disney Vacation Club Membership, and the ability to bank or borrow Vacation Points allows us to stretch our Membership to fit our current season of life. We have borrowed Vacation Points on multiple occasions, primarily so we could host our friends and family for an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Let's take a look at borrowing Vacation Points.

If you have 150 Vacation Points per Use Year, then you could borrow all 150 Vacation Points if needed. However, we should review a few of the rules surrounding borrowing. You may only borrow Points when you are making a reservation, and you can only borrow exactly the Points you need for that reservation. So you could not borrow all 150 Points unless that was exactly what you needed for your reservation. The Points could be split up throughout the Use Year for multiple reservations as needed, though. Additionally, borrowing Points is a final transaction. Those Points can no longer be banked; if the reservation is canceled, the Points will expire at the end of the current Use Year. Keep in mind that borrowing may be limited or suspended from time to time. Check out this guide for borrowing points that outline the rules. I hope this helps you plan your ultimate Disney Vacation Club adventure!
