    What are people wearing in Disney right now? We're arriving next week and I don't know whether to be packing shorts or long pants for the kids?

    Hi Vicki,

    The current forecast for the first two days of December is highs in the low 70s and lows in the high 50s. For that weather, personally I'd pack mostly jeans for my kids. They would be pretty cold in shorts in the morning and would probably be comfortable later in the day. However, your children may have a different heat/cold tolerance than mine, so take that into consideration.

    I can also tell you that forecasts for the Orlando area can change quickly, so I'd certainly double check the day before you leave and also bring at least one or two pairs of shorts for each person in case things warm up.

    I've been to Walt Disney World four times during early December. During two years, the temperatures were moderate, as are predicted for your visit. One year I was sweating through my tee shirts with temperatures in the high 80s and one year I had to buy hats and gloves because it was freezing at night with temperatures in the high 40s. I know that's not particularly helpful, but I guess the moral of the story is that you should be at least a little prepared for anything in case the weather turns while you're actually on your vacation.
