Aloha, Gerald!
Traveling from Hawaii is quite a long trip to Walt Disney World! I’m so glad you know about the Park Pass Reservation system!
Once you have made your Walt Disney World Resort Package Reservation, each adult who is traveling will need to make their own
MyDisneyExperience account. You can plan together by hovering over the blue bubble that says “Family & Friends”, and then clicking the blue “Add A Guest” button that appears. This will take you a screen where you can select how to add them to your planning party. If you are staying separately, then enter their reservation number and add them that way. It will probably ask for their MyDisneyExperience email, so be sure to have that handy!
You will also want to add your own reservation to your MyDisneyExperience. You can do this on the mobile app or the website. I find the website easier to do all of these things. Simply hover over the “Resort Reservations” blue bubble and then click the blue “Add a reservation” button that appears. You’ll enter your reservation number and it should show the party in that room.
Once everyone is linked, you can share the planning responsibilities! To make a park pass reservation in MyDisneyExperience, hover over the blue “Park Reservations” bubble and then click on the “
Make a Park Reservation” button that appears. Choose the entire party that you want to make the reservation for, plus the date and theme park. The system will let you know if that is available for you all for that day.
If your tickets include the
park hopper option, you can change theme parks beginning at 2pm. You can check the availability of the park you wish to “hop” to on the MyDisneyExperience mobile app.
Thank you for coming to planDisney with your question! Please let us know if we can help you with other questions!
Happy Planning,
Tracy
