can people share meals at resturants

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise!

Meals at Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Springs restaurants are always a great time! Amazing Disney customer service and delicious food coupled with generous portion sizes make for a satisfying experience.

When it comes to sharing your meals with another adult at a table service restaurant, it’s usually not a problem if you are paying for your meal out-of-pocket. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you will not be able to share your meal with another adult. Keep in mind that all-you-care-to-enjoy meals cannot be shared and some restaurants may impose a sharing fee.

Other than in those cases, I have been known to order a few appetizers, share a main dish and dessert with my friends when visiting restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort. You can also share your meal with a child under the age of three.

If you have any questions, you can always ask a Cast Member when you check in for your reservation. The server will also be able to answer those questions along with any other questions you may have about food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Did you know that you can start making dining reservations 180 days before your scheduled trip? It's easy, just log on to your My Disney Experience account to get started!

Denise, I hope I’ve answered your dining questions! Please come back to see us if you need any more help planning your magical vacation!
