I see that people recommend to get to fantasmic at least 1 hour ahead of time. While you are waiting for the show, is there anything entertaining happening? I only ask as we will have an 18mos old and 5 year old to keep happy! We are there in Sept.thanks

    Hi Amy!

Yes it is true, it is recommended that guests arrive 60 - 90 minutes prior to showtime to get a seat for Fantasmic.  Seats are handed out on a first come first serve basis so you want to arrive early to get a good seat.  Waiting in line can be a bit challenging for the young ones as there is no "line up entertainment" to keep the kids occupied.  Have you considered the Fantasmic Dining Plan?  If you are planning on making dining reservations on the night of Fantasmic then you may want to take advantage of this plan.  On the Fantasmic Dining Plan guests dine at one of three restaurant choices and they are given priority seating in the theatre.  As a result, rather than waiting 60 minutes in line they only need to arrive 30 minutes prior to showtime as a section of the theatre is reserved for guests on the Fantasmic Dining Package.  I have linked you to the Fantasmic Dining Package page on the Disney website to read more about this package. Have a magical vacation and enjoy Fantasmic!
