    Hi! Are people still purchasing the magic bands? I realize that you can do most things with your phone.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Irene! You always have lots of options when it comes to planning and managing your vacations at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    If you have MagicBands from a previous visit you can absolutely use them again for your visit at the end of December. There are lots of really adorable styles for MagicBands on shopDisney too!

    Guests still use bands and they can also use their My Disney Experience app to create Disney MagicMobile passes to access the park entrances. Whatever is most convenient for you is what you should do!

    Sometime next year, a brand-new generation of MagicBands will be released for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for mention of when those special new bands may become available. The blog is a great planning tool!
