Hi Caryn,
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) at Walt Disney World Resort is a program designed to enhance the park experience for guests with disabilities. Eligible Guests can now conveniently pre-register for DAS Advance virtually with a friendly Cast Member via live video chat. This innovative feature allows for seamless planning, enabling guests to pre-register as early as 30 days in advance of their park visit, ensuring everything is set up smoothly for their magical adventure. Just remember, it's best to pre-register no later than 2 days before arrival to ensure everything is in place.
As for the number of people included in the DAS pass, my experience suggests that the DAS typically allows for up to 5 additional people to be included along with the DAS user. However, it's worth noting that infants under the age of two generally wouldn't need to be included in the count, as they don't require a Theme Park ticket for entrance.
In my experience, Disney goes above and beyond to accommodate guests with disabilities. Please be sure to take a look at the
Services for Guests with Disabilities. You’ll even find guides that may be helpful to your family. If you have a question while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to stop by Guest Relations.
Wishing you and your party a truly enchanting vacation filled with unforgettable moments and cherished memories at the
Walt Disney World Resort!
