Hi Denise!
Welcome to planDisney!
I’m happy to report that you’re more than welcome to mix and match which
Lightning Lane services you purchase for the guests in your travel party. Of course, each Lightning Lane service will work a little differently. But with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you’ll be able to enter any available Lightning Lane at any time you’d like. So, the guests with Premier Pass will be able to join the guests with Lightning Lane Multi Pass whenever they’d like (as long as they haven't used a Lightning Lane for that attraction yet!).
Any
guests under the age of 3 will not need a Lightning Lane service. Those under 3 perks are amazing! Little ones under 3 will be able to enter the Lightning Lane with any adult who has a Lightning Lane service for that attraction (whether it’s with someone with Lightning Lane Premier Pass or someone with a booked Lightning Lane using Lightning Lane Multi Pass).
Your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket (for date-based tickets).
Before your booking window opens, make sure you’re linked to your entire travel party via the
Family & Friends List. Then, when it’s time to purchase your Lightning Lane services, each park day and each Lightning Lane service will be a separate transaction.
I recommend purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the guest(s) using that service first. That way, you’ll have a better chance at snagging the Lightning Lane return times you’d like. Then I’d purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass for those who will be utilizing that service.
I hope that helps! And I hope you have the BEST trip. It’s getting so close! Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan.
