Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Keri!
I LOVE that you are planning ahead for your high seas adventure this fall! My favorite way to pass the time until I'm sailing with Captain Mickey again is PLANNING for my next cruise. It sounds like you are starting with the fun stuff!
Fish extender gift exchanges are not official Disney Cruise Line activities. These fun opportunities to get to know your fellow cruisers and add a little pixie dust to your sailing are independently planned in social media groups. I would recommend you review the guidelines within your group to ensure that you are giving in the spirit intended for your cruise.
When my family has participated in these exchanges, we have always either given cabin gifts between $20 and $30, or individual gifts for each stateroom guest around $5. Most of our sailings we have delivered our gifts all on the same day. We deliver when the ship is at sea so that it is likely the family will visit their stateroom throughout the day and see the gifts quickly after they are delivered. I like to print off the
online deck plans to help chart a course for delivery!
For other fun opportunities to get to know your fellow cruisers while onboard, use your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the locations and times of all of the onboard activities! My family loves the game shows in the D Lounge. You can also "shake it up" with Betty during the onboard Bingo sessions!
Have fun sailing around the ship delivering all of that pixie dust! Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
