Welcome to planDisney, Julie!
I am glad to hear you already have some
dining reservations in place for your visit. There are so many wonderful dining experiences available at Walt Disney World Resort -- a special meal is an essential part of any Disney vacation!
When making dining reservations, your entire party, including any children in high chairs, should be included in the number. Whether or not
Tusker House Restaurant will be able to accommodate your party of 4 if you have made a reservation for 3 Guests will be dependent upon restaurant capacity at the time you are dining. Sometimes when using
Mobile Dine Check-In I am given the option to add a Guest to my party, and other times not.
I can certainly understand wanting to find a reservation time that works better for your schedule. I have a couple of suggestions for you. The first is to keep checking for dining availability either online or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Other Guests' plans change all the time, and you never know when the time you are looking for might pop up. I have found that often tables become available in the day prior, as other Guests cancel unneeded reservations to avoid the
cancellation penalty.
Another option would be to stop by Tusker House Restaurant earlier in the day and speak to a Cast Member at the host stand. They might be able to let you know if it would be possible for you to dine earlier than your current reservation time. I know there have been times when the host has been able to work some magic and accommodate my request.
Fingers crossed you get the reservation you are looking for! If you think of any other questions, feel free to stop by planDisney again. We are always happy to help. Have a wonderful vacation!
