5 people (3 adults (one is MIL), 3 kids). Looking at the AoA Family Suite until I saw there is 1 queen & 2 doubles (fold out table & sofa bed). I want MIL to be comfy so would it better to do adjoining rooms? if so does every resort have them?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura! I stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation last fall in a CARS suite (the family suites sleep 6) and I can’t tell you how incredibly comfortable it was! I’m a veritable Princess and the Pea when it comes to mattresses, and being relegated to the pull out sofa, I was fearful of sleeping terribly.

But my fears were put to ease the moment I laid down. These beds were seriously very comfortable, with no middle bars in sight! The Murphy table bed was even plusher with a thicker mattress but I didn’t miss it. I slept very soundly! With your family of 6, I’ll assume #6 is a baby, possibly in a complimentary Pack N Play or Crib. With you and your spouse (and baby) in the main bedroom, two kids can take the sofa bed leaving your Mother In Law in the Murphy Bed, which I think will suit her nicely. Otherwise, you can look into adjoining Little Mermaid rooms in this same Resort, Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Port Orleans Riverside, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Asking for and getting connecting rooms is never 100% guaranteed, though Cast Members will do everything they can to accommodate your request.

If I can help you with any other vacation aspect, please return to the panel and ask as many questions as you like. Always let your conscience be your guide! ~ Lindsey P.
