Erika from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am in penalty state but I have an existing reservation for next week. I know I cant make ir modify new reservations. Can I still get in with am existing reservation?

Hey there, Erika. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to share this question with us. Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear about the current situation with your Magic Key pass. Hopefully, the time will pass quickly and you can get back on track to enjoy your year of magic.

You are correct that when your Magic Key pass is subject to the Magic Key No-Show Policy, your pass will fall into a penalty state. During this time, you are not able to make any new theme park reservations or modifications to existing park reservations for 30 days. You indeed are still able to visit the park on days that you already have an existing reservation. Sprinkling in a little magic with an existing park reservation visit is sure to make the time pass faster.

I hope this is good news for you and I hope your 30 days go by as quickly as they can. There are a lot of fun things happening at the resort right now with Halloween Time in full swing. Soon after that, in just a few short weeks, the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will arrive. It's the best time of year with these back-to-back holiday celebrations.

Well, Erika, I hope I was able to provide the information you were looking for. If you find yourself with other questions, please come back to visit us. Until then, I hope you make the most of your next visits and that your 30 days go by in a flash.
